Dr. Lydia Brodie has been inspired to health women thrive. Through her career as a chiropractor, Dr. Brodie focuses on pregnancy and postpartum care. She believes there is a large gap in our standard of care when it comes women having babies and she is here to help with the physical transitions that occur in our bodies. When treating patients, she focuses on restoring pain free functional motion, as well as injury prevention. Dr. Brodie creates individualized treatment plans that are centered around the patient’s needs. She integrates the latest scientific evidence in her multidisciplinary approach to the health care of her patients.
She obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, graduating with Clinical Honours and Magna Cum Laude designation. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Brodie completed her Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Guelph, majoring in Biomedical Science. She has also completed additional certifications in Contemporary Acupuncture from McMaster University, Fascial Distortion Model, Webster technique for pregnancy, the Spinal Stenosis Bootcamp Program and Growco (a postpartum focused clinical approach).
Dr. Brodie is completing a post-graduate program in the Chiropractic Clinical Sciences at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
